Osage County is a 4 piece, high-energy, alt country, rock band made of Oklahoma natives. The band is composed of front man Jordan Cox of Fairfax, OK (Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals, Accordion), Pat Cook (Lead Guitar) of New Boston, MO, currently resides in Osage County, OK, Gavin Haddox of Salisaw, OK (Drums), and currently Bill Lee of Henryetta, OK (Bass).

Osage County has hit the music scene feet first and running. The band started in the summer of 2018, and since then has released their debut EP, which they decided to create completely on their own; in the land, they got their name from, Osage County. The 2018 debut album, which is a 5 track EP, gives insight to what you will get live from these shack- shaking music makers. Hard hitting music that demands boot stomping, with catchy, well-written lyrics and captivating melodies, which will have you singing along in no time. . The bands live shows demands the captivity of your attention not only with their music, but also with their classic rock-like stage presence, that will leave you thirsty for more… music and trips to the bar. Jordan might be a familiar name to you as he was mentioned in the Turnpike Troubadours song “Morgan Street” as “Jordan played accordion and dropped out of college..” which he wants you to know he has since finished with a BS in Cellular Biology and a minor in chemistry. Jordan is also the accordion player, harmonica player, and back up vocalists for a side project with the bass player from Turnpike Troubadours, RC Edwards, called RC and the Ambers. He comes from a long history of gospel music learning how to play piano, guitar, and sing for the churches he grew up in, but hit a different pace when he got Tahlequah, Oklahoma and found two of his long-time best friends, Amber Watson and RC Edwards. A friendship that is still lasting to this day with a bond of music.

Pat Cook should be a familiar name in the music scene, as he is the leader and founder of his own 2 piece high energy original rock band, “The Electric Ragband,” which is made up of himself on guitar and vocals and his son Daniel Cook aka “Cookie” from the same Turnpike song “And Cookie played drums in a punk rock band” on drums and back up vocals. Pat has also been doing solo acts all over the OK and surrounding states for the last 20 years.

Osage County has released their first independent lo-fi EP, as a taste for what is to come. The band has plans to hit a studio this fall and cut their first professional album by the end of this year, Jordan has been hard at writing and hopes to release a single by this summer which will be a prelude to the first professionally released album. You can currently find their EP “Labouring Nights” on all major streaming platforms, and they will be playing acoustic duo, solo, and full band shows in the months and years ahead.
